Getting started with blogger easy

How to get started with blogger?
make a post is about the things you need to think about when you start with Blogger.

This is not about blogging in general,
just a matter of tools - specifically for Blogger, and using a free blogging google.

the first thing

Once you decide to use Blogger and create your first blog, there may be some basic issues you need to consider

1. Found and understand the basic concepts

When you think about how to write your blog, very helpful if you start with an understanding of Blogger, Posts, Pages and screens, blogs and bloggers.
Each tool has its own way a computer to organize things.

2. Specify the account that will be used

If you just write a personal diary blog, a travel blog, or similar, it's okay to use your personal Google account.

But if you create a blog for a organsation or business (even your own small business you might want to sell one day), or a blog that you might want to leave it to someone else one day, then you should think very carefully about what
Google account to use.

Honestly, I recommend creating a separate account (done by setting up a Gmail account) just for the blog.

If you are not sure, read this article about transferring ownership of the blog, especially the parts that can not be transferred yet.

3. Control who can view blog

Most blogs are open so anyone can find them, and read them.

But if you want to stop a blog found by a search engine, or by random people look at the list of Google's blog, the best time to arrange this is before you've written posts. You set it on (Settings tab) in Blogger.

For more control, you can create a personal blog, and chose to invite only certain people to read it.

Do this in the Settings tab, too.
But note that you can only send 100 invitations,
ever, they can change this in the future, but that's the limit for now.
There are some cases when the limit of your blog readers may not be as safe as you'd expect.

4. Decide whether to help the search engines

There are many articles, websites and books about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
and many people who will tell you that the most important thing you can do, ever.

Now, if you want to search - engines (Google, etc.) to bring readers to your blog, then you may want to investigate some of these in the future. But in the meantime Google has published a general "get started with SEO guide" - and I had to explain how Blogger users can put their advice into practice.

But you also want to think about the reasons why SEO might not be relevant to your blog, as well.

5. Use the template to match your blog

Each has a Blogger blog template format that controls how it looks.

After you write 2-3 posts, try using the change to use a different template so design your blog according to your goals.

To change the template go to Dashboard> Template and select one.

You could spend a long time "tweaking" your template to make the blog look "right". If this is important to you, then do it! But most readers are more interested in the content, so you need to decide how much time to spend time doing this vs. writing a new post.

and what next?

There is no "right way" to use Blogger or blog

next step is up to you, Look around and experiment.

The product forums Blogger (where you can ask for help when you get stuck) and oversee Blogger Buzz (where Google announced a new feature).

how to copy a post from one blog to another blog

Posted by heruqua.blogspot.com On Friday, November 29, 2013 0 comments

This article is about how to copy a post from one blog to another,
       while keeping all the formatting,
       pictures and layouts,using blogger

There is a separate article about posts from one blog to another, copying all, or most.

One way to move a post from one blog to another is by copying and pasting it into the post-editor in a new Post in the second blog.

However sometimes this doesn't work:  formatting, picture positions or hyperlinks are lost.

But behind every Blogger post is just HTML:  and, you can can copy content from one Post to another by copying the HTML, and pasting it to the destination blog as HTML.

This works even if the blogs belong to different Google accounts (although sometimes you may need to save the HTML in a text-editor (notePad) while you log out and in again, or perhaps even email it (as a plain-text) message to someone else who has author rights in the second blog.

You can follow these steps to move a post to another blog

1  Log in to Blogger, and Edit the post you want to move.

2  Click on HTML to see the code behind the post.

3  Copy all the code
(put the cursor in the code, ad  press Ctrl / A to select it, then press Ctrl C to copy)

4  Open the blog that you want to move the post to
(You may need to log out and in again, or perhaps just switch to different browser or tab)

5  Create a New Post

6  Click on HTML, so you can see the space where the code goes

7  Paste all the code

8  If necessary, click on Post Options and make any changes you need there
(eg viewing or not viewing comments or back-links)

9  Click Publish, and check that it looks ok

This an easy way to move an individual post / or part of a post
there are other easier ways to move all posts between blogs, and move some posts between blogs. (heruqua)
